Police Overwhelmingly Support Your Gun Rights

You might not be the only one to wonder where the major disconnect is when you see anti-gun, anti-self-defense ads that say the major Police Chiefs support gun control.

In contrast, when out of the political spotlight, those same chiefs overwhelmingly support your Second Amendment rights. The new 17th Annual National Association of Chiefs of Police survey of 22,000 Chiefs and Sheriffs in the U.S. shows:

93% believe that any law-abiding citizen should be able to buy a firearm for sport or self-defense;

88% believe the death penalty serves as a deterent for criminals;

63% believe a national concealed carry permit will reduce the amount of crime;

87% believe terrorism will increase in the U.S. this year;

93% believe the national news media is not impartial in its reporting.
