Criminals See Canada as Haven

Our neighbor to the north is seen by many criminals as the ideal haven because of the country's complicated and sluggish extradition laws.

Criminals like Fred Gilliland (shown in photo)are living free and in the open in Canada despite being charged four years ago by a U.S. grand jury. Gilliland was only able to be arrested after a private investigator lured him over the border from Canada.
